CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINES & INFORMATION
Candidates filing for judicial office begins the first Monday in January of the year in which the election is to be held nor later than 5 p.m. on the second Friday after the first Monday in January.
For all other candidates, the first Monday in March of the year in which the election is to be held nor later than 5 p.m. on the second Friday after the first Monday in March.
Local office candidate filing packets are available at the Carson City Clerk's office
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT A VALID NEVADA DRIVER'S LICENSE OR IDENTIFICATION CARD CONTAINING YOUR PHOTOGRAPH AND RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS. IF YOUR RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS DOES NOT APPEAR ON YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE OR IDENTIFICATION CARD, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF RESIDENCY IN ADDITION TO YOUR IDENTIFICATION.

Last day to withdraw or rescind withdrawal of judicial candidacy January 24, 2018
Non-Judicial candidate filing March 5 - March 16, 2018
Last day for non-judicial candidate name changes March 16, 2018
Last day to withdraw or rescind withdrawal of non-judicial candidacy March 27, 2018
