Danielle Leading Hike

Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open space is now offering interpretive hikes. They are hikes of different levels for the whole family.  There is a guide who will accompany the hikers and educate them on different subjects. The hike are free of cost and everyone is welcome to attend.   Learn new things, meet new people and get some exercise in one of our Open Space areas!

The Trail-Graze Hike

Ewe are invited on a guided hike to view the grazing sheep in Carson City! Join us to hear from experts about how Carson City is utilizing sheep to reduce wildfire risks, invasive weed identification, and local environmental history. The location will be dependent on where the sheep will be grazing during the month of April—watch our Facebook Page for the location announcement!
