The Carson City Clerk is responsible for the creation and maintenance of accurate, accessible, and permanent records of the meetings of the Carson City Board of Supervisors and other boards, commissions, and committees, either authorized by law or created by and advisory to the Board of Supervisors.

The Recording Secretaries Division is under Carson City Clerk - Recorder Susan Merriwether and is located at City Hall, 201 North Carson Street, Suite 1.
