The Carson City Senior Citizens Center, located on 911 Beverly Drive, Carson City, Nevada, is here to serve the seniors of Carson City. We are open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We have scheduled activities each day such as exercise, bunco, bingo, tai chi, line dancing, lapidary, bridge and many others that seniors enjoy.
A hot, nutritious meal is served in the center's dining room every weekday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., for a donation of $2.25 for seniors (age 60 and over) and $6.00 for guests who are under age 60.
To enhance the quality of life and autonomy of individuals 60+ through the facilitation and provision of a broad continuum of services and support including: nutrition, activities, information and referral, education, opportunity for peer interaction with concern for mental, emotional and physical well being, and to foster and develop low cost senior housing.
The corporation manages the Senior Center complex pursuant to a Memorandum of Understanding between the corporation and Carson City.
