Members of the public who wish to address the Open Space Advisory Committee may come forward and speak on matters related to the Committee. Comments may be limited to three minutes per person or topic. If your item requires extended discussion or action, please request the Chairperson to schedule the matter for a future meeting. No action may be taken on a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.

For Possible Action: To recommend to the Board of Supervisors to support and sponsor the efforts of the Nevada Commission for the Reconstruction of the V&T Railway for the application for a Federal Transportation Administration Sarbanes Grant for approximately $3 million. For Possible Action: To recommend to the Board of Supervisors and staff to support the partnership with and grant application by Beneficial Designs, Inc. and Great Basin Institute to the Recreational Trails Program administered through the Nevada Division of State Parks for trail assessments and mapping of the motorized section within the Prison Hill Recreation Area.
