CARSON CITY HISTORIC RESOURCE COMMISSION IS HOSTING THE 10TH ANNUAL SCAVENGER HUNT
In celebration of Historic Preservation and Archaeological Awareness month, the City’s Historic Resource Commission has organized the 10th Annual Scavenger Hunt. This year’s hunt focuses on the history and culture of our City. The Commission crafted the hunt to be an event the family can do together. Participants will be given clues about people, places and events that are important to the community’s history. Using the clues, participants will research and locate the answers. To ensure participants visit the various sites, on-site photographs will be required with the submittals. Completed answers are due by 3:00 PM May 31, 2019. Answers may be submitted in person at 108 East Proctor Street, Carson City or emailed to email@example.com.
A winner will be drawn from the correct submittals to receive a $50 gift card to The Fox Brewpub, located in the Historic Saint Charles Hotel at 310 South Carson Street.
The Commission wishes to thank Jim Phalan for donating the gift card to The Fox Brewpub, and Ronni Hannaman and Bob Nylen for their assistance in identifying historic people, places, and events.
