The Juvenile Division of the First Judicial District Court does not issue work permit to minor children fourteen (14) years of age or older.

It is not a requirement of law for these children to have written permission from the court to be employed.

The Nevada Revised Statutes does prohibit employment of a child under sixteen (16) years of age in certain occupations. We refer all interested parties to The Nevada Revised Statutes, also review the federal law for further regulation of child employment.
