Baily Fishing Pond opened to the public on September 11, 2010.  The pond is located in the southeast area of the Carson City Fairgrounds.  It is about 15 feet deep, has a fresh water in-flow from Clear Creek, and is stocked with Rainbow Trout by the Nevada Department of Wildlife.  There is a handicap accessible floating fishing pier and a nearby parking area.  There are also handicap portable restrooms nearby.

Winter hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 7 days a week.

Fishing licenses are required for anyone 12 years of age or older.  The limit is 3 fish.  A trout stamp is also required to to take or possess trout.  Licenses are available at local retail outlets or online through the Nevada Division of Wildlife www.ndow.org .
