Each night bands will perform holiday favorites from 5:45pm-7:45pm with a break in the middle.
Friday, December 9th: Darren Sen
Darren Senn thrives on engaging his audiences with storytelling and simple, well-crafted songs. Through his slow and steady songwriting journey the past decade he has taken away the most precious lesson; honesty is the only way. His often melancholy humor is balanced with plenty of keen insight, ripe with colorful stories and revealing admissions of his shortcomings and how he moves past them with whatever grace he may stumble upon.
Darren was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon and currently resides in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He plays mostly around the Reno/Tahoe region and is planning to tour more extensively in 2022.
Saturday, December 10th: Sagebrush Swingers
Kelli and Travis Noel-Palmer moved into the Carson City area in 2020. Kelli had been playing trombone in a traditional jazz band for 5 years in the San Jose, CA area prior to their move, and wanted to bring the swing style to their new city. Together, they brought together a small group of local musicians who shared their love of jazz. The traditional jazz style has its origins in New Orleans, and lends well to Lindyhop dancing and East Coast Swing.
Sunday, December 11th: Carolyn Dolan
Carolyn Dolan has been entertaining audiences for over thirty years. Her ability to cross over many genres has made her very versatile on the music scene. She is in demand as a professional singer, harmonica player, and performer. Ms. Dolan has a gift of combining her passion of American roots music (jazz, blues, and country) in her vocal style, matched by soulful harmonica licks that accompanies her on stage every night. She can dive into a powerful R & B tune, deliver a smooth jazz standard or a gentle country ballad.
