A. Call to Order
B. Modification to the Agenda - The Carson City Hearings Officer reserves the right to take items out of order, remove an item from the agenda or delay discussion relating to an item on the agenda at any time.
C. Public Comment**
Members of the public who wish to address the Hearings Officer may speak on matters related to the Liquor Licensing review process, which are not on this agenda. Comments are limited to three minutes per person or topic. If your item requires extended discussion, please request the Hearings Officer to calendar the matter for a future Liquor Hearings Officer meeting. No action may be taken on a matter raised under public comment unless the item has been specifically included on the agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.
D. Public Hearing: Action Item
D-1 For Possible Action: To issue a Liquor License to The Union, LLC and to approve Mark Estee as the liquor manager for The Union LLC (Liquor License #17-32069) located at 302 N. Carson St. (Lena Reseck, firstname.lastname@example.org)
Summary: All liquor license requests are to be reviewed by the Hearings Officer per CCMC 4.13. The Union LLC is seeking to operate a restaurant and brew beer to be sold on premises at 302 N. Carson Street. The Hearings Officer will determine if the applicant has met the requirements per CCMC 4.13.125.
D-2 For Possible Action: To approve Rene Richardson as the liquor manager for Whiskey Tavern (Liquor License #17-32070) located at 3481 Hwy 50 East. (Lena Reseck, email@example.com)
Summary: All liquor license requests are to be reviewed by the Hearings Officer per CCMC 4.13. Whiskey Tavern is currently located at 3481 Hwy 50 East and operates as a bar serving alcohol on premises. The Hearings Officer will determine if the applicant has met the requirements per CCMC 4.13.125.

** PUBLIC COMMENT: The Hearings Officer will provide at least two public comment periods in compliance with the minimum requirements of the Open Meeting Law prior to adjournment. In addition, it is Carson City’s aspirational goal to also provide for item-specific public comment as follows: In order for members of the public to participate in the public body’s consideration of an agenda item, the public is strongly encouraged to comment on an agenda item when called for by the Hearings Officer during the item itself. No action may be taken on a matter raised under public comment unless the item has been specifically included on the agenda as an item upon which action may be taken. Comments may be limited to three minutes per person or topic at the discretion of the Hearings Officer in order to facilitate the meeting.
