You are hereby notified that the items listed below will be considered with action taken by the Carson City Planning Commission beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in the Sierra Room of the Community Center, 851 East William Street, Carson City, Nevada.

AB-15-164 For Possible Action: To make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding an application from Wayne Lepire (property owner: Desert Peak Investments, LLC) for an Abandonment of a section of right-of-way approximately nine feet wide by 170 feet long, along the west boundary of Anderson Street between East Caroline Street and East Robinson Street, adjacent to APN 004-244-04. (Susan Dorr Pansky)

Summary: This request is in conjunction with the Tentative Subdivision Map application for seven townhouses known as the Caroline Court Townhouses under TSM-15-165. Approval of this request to abandon a nine-foot wide section of right-of-way would allow the required parking proposed for the project to be on-site.

TSM-15-165 For Possible Action: To make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding a Tentative Subdivision Map application from Wayne Lepire (property owner: Desert Peak Investments, LLC), to create seven attached dwelling units with associated common area on property zoned General Office (GO), located at East Caroline Street, APN 004-244-04. Summary: This request is to allow development of the site as a subdivision with the creation of eight parcels for development of seven townhouses and a common area. A separate application for the Abandonment of a section of the right-of-way of Anderson Street to accommodate required parking is also under review.

SUP-15-095** For Possible Action: To consider a request from Verizon Wireless (property owner: Carson Gaming) to allow a new wireless telecommunication tower with an 80-foot tall monopole, on property zoned General Commercial (GC), located at 3910 S. Carson Street, APN 009-153-05. (Kathe Green)

Summary: This is a request to allow a new 80-foot high wireless telecommunication monopole with associated improvements in the General Commercial zoning district. New telecommunication facilities require approval of a Special Use Permit. The proposed height of the equipment also requires review to exceed 45 feet in the General Commercial zoning district. This application was continued from the October 28, 2015 meeting.
